You are invited to Picnic at Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site, on Saturday 29th June.
There simply couldn’t be a better time for you to visit the world famous Kew Gardens than this summer when Dale Chihuly is exhibiting his luminous glass artworks in their spectacular landscape.
In June you could experience the perfect marriage of art, science and nature as Chihuly’s dazzling sculptures transform the Garden whilst the Temperate House will home a specially designed sculpture inspired by the cathedral space it will inhabit.
As a Burford & Fulbrook resident you are warmly invited to join this trip to Kew Gardens, (which is being organised by St John the Baptist Church), together with other members of the community and the church.
Please bring your own picnic, which will be looked after for you whilst you discover the wonders of this Garden.
Tickets are £25 per person which includes coach travel and entrance to Kew Gardens. We will be leaving at 9.00am, Saturday 29th June, from Priory Lane, Burford and departing from Kew Gardens at 3.30pm.
To book a place please fill in your details below, or contact the church office on 01993 823788 or alternatively have a word with us if you are visiting during the Burford Festival. Deadline for bookings 20 June 2019.
After all the excitement of the Festival this could be the perfect next event for you to enjoy – you will be most welcome.
