Sunday club

The Sunday Club meets during the 11am morning service in Burford on every term-time Sunday (except for the monthly family service.) The children meet in four different age groups;

• under 3's in the crèche (Ducklings)
• Pre-schoolers and Reception (Frogs)
• Years 1 - 3 (Otters)
• Years 4 - 6 (Voles)

There is a lively mix of Bible-teaching, games, craft activities, discussion, quizzes, singing and drama. We hope that the children make good friends, grow in their understanding of and faith in Jesus Christ and enjoy the experience of being part of a local church.

The children enjoy learning and worshipping with the adults in church for the first ten minutes of the service, before going to the neighbouring Warwick Hall for Sunday Club. Parents collect them from the Hall at 12.15pm. Occasionally, the children return to the service to join the rest of the church family for communion.

Every term, 'extra' activities are available, including socials for the eldest two groups, giving projects and, in June 2006, a very successful camping night! During the school holidays, there are events such as "Screen on the Green" films to invite friends along to and, of course, Holiday Club (see below.) On Sunday mornings during the school holidays, there are children's activities in the Warwick Hall during the service, rather than Sunday Club.

Holiday club

• The ideal way to entertain the kids in the summer!
• Held during school summer holidays (13-17 August, 2007) providing a range of activities to be enjoyed by 5-11 year olds

Pathfinders

Pathfinders follows on from Sunday Club, giving young people the chance to continue discovering Christianity;

• Friendly group for 11-18 year olds
• Fun, food and learning about the Christian Life
• Meets 6-8pm, Sundays during term-time
• All welcome
