Prayer Meetings
Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. We encourage all church members to have a daily time of prayer and Bible reading. Bible reading notes are available from our bookstall or by contacting the church office.
We also have a variety of prayer meetings to which everyone is invited:
Weekly -
- 12.30-1.30pm on Mondays, in St Thomas' Chapel, Burford Church - a prayer meeting with extemporary prayer for the current needs of the church and the world
- 4.15pm on Mondays, in St Thomas' Chapel, Burford Church - the Priory Prayer Group offers a quieter led prayer meeting with a particular emphasis on prayer for those who are unwell or in need
- 5pm on Thursdays, in Fulbrook church - Quiet Prayer, providing an opportunity for silent prayer.
Fortnightly -
- The Womens' Prayer Group meets at 1.30pm on alternate Fridays. Contact the Church office for venue and dates [Link to church office]. All women are welcome to pray about a variety of issues.
Monthly -
- Prayer and Praise, 8 - 9.00pm in Burford Church on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Our main prayer meeting with some singing and prayer for the ministry of the church.
- Prayer for the Persecuted Church, 7.30pm in Burford Church on the 4th Thursday of each month.
