Prayer Meetings & Home Groups
Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. We encourage all church members to have a daily time of prayer and Bible reading. Bible reading notes are available from our bookstall or by contacting the church office.
We also have a variety of prayer meetings to which everyone is invited:

- 12.30-1.30pm on Mondays in St Thomas' Chapel, Burford Church - a prayer meeting with extemporary prayer for the current needs of the church and the world
- 7.30am on Tuesdays in St Thomas Chapel, Burford Church - Morning Prayer Service
- 7am on Wednesdays in St Thomas' Chapel, Burford Church - an early morning prayer meeting.
- 5pm on Thursdays in Fulbrook church - Quiet Prayer, providing an opportunity for silent prayer.
Fortnightly -
- The Womens' Prayer Group meets at 1.30pm on alternate Fridays. Contact the Church office for venue and dates. All women are welcome to pray about a variety of issues.
Monthly -
- Prayer for the Persecuted Church, 8pm in St John the Baptist Church on the 2nd Wednesday of each month
- Central Prayer meeting 7.45pm in St John the Baptist Church normally on the 4th Tuesday of each month. This Autumn there are some changes. There is a Prayer Vigil on Wednesday, 22nd September from 7.45pm until midnight. Then the meetings are: Tuesday, 26th October, and Wednesday, 24th November.
Home Groups
The Home groups are the real building blocks of our fellowship and are where we really get to know one another and grow in our faith;
- We learn from the Bible together
- We pray for each other
- 7 Home Groups meet fortnightly in term-time at members' homes (6 evening and 1 daytime group)
Please contact us if you would like more information about Home Groups.
