Our Life
Burford Church is a Bible-teaching, Church of England church in the historic Cotswold town of Burford, the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds'. We are delighted to see our congregation growing rapidly year on year and would love to continue that growth!
We welcome people of all ages and from all sorts of backgrounds; those who wish to find out about Jesus Christ for the first time, as well as those who want to grow in their faith for him.
We offer groups for children at our 11am service, for teenagers on Sunday evenings, and a variety of services and activities for adults.
Our mission statement is 'Becoming wholehearted disciples of Jesus'.
We are doing this by:
- Reaching out into our community - we provide regular opportunities to allow people to investigate Christianity
- Worshipping together - in a variety of styles to suit all ages and preferences.

Alpha
Does God Exist? Yes, No, Probably? The Alpha Course starts on 28th September with an introductory talk 'Christianity: boring, untrue and irrelevant?' and supper. Followed by an 8 week course until 30th November. Contact the Church Office for further details on 01993 823788.

Prayer Vigil
There will be a Prayer Vigil in St John the Baptist, Burford on Wednesday, 22nd September 7.45pm until 12 midnight. Come and join us for part or all the time. Particular focus will be on the Warwick Hall Developement and Alpha.
